Nozzle

Can ordinary hoses (inner diameter 12-15 mm / outer diameter up to 21 mm)nozzle be connected to a thin hoses (inner diameter up to 7.5-9 mm / outer diameter up to 13.5 mm) or thick hoses (inner diameter 15-18 mm / outer diameter 26 mm)? Also, can a nozzle designed for thin or thick hoses be connected to a ordinary hoses?

If you have a nozzle with a connector (one-touch connection), and if you have a connector that matches the hose diameter, it is possible to connect a nozzle with a different compatible hose size.
*The nozzle and hose are directly attached to each other so that some types of nozzles are required a connector (sole separately) depending on the type of nozzle.

Why is a pressure-resistant hose used for connecting to the nozzle?

When water is shut off with a nozzle instead of a faucet, the hose is subjected to water pressure when the water is shut off. This may cause the hose to swell or burst due to the water pressure.

Differences in screen sizes of nozzles.

The nozzle screens have different spray widths depending on their sizes.
Please refer it before purchasing.

■Large Screen
→The splay shapes of this screen is wilder than the one of the Small Screen and it makes the spray force softer.
■Small Screen
→The spray shapes of this screen is more narrow than the Large Screen and it makes the spray force stronger.

«Note»
It is affected by the usage environment and hose inner diameter.

Does the Straight water shape from the nozzle produce water with the same force as a high-pressure washer?

Nozzles and high-pressure cleaners have different product structures.
Therefore, the straight water shape from the nozzles cannot provide the same water pressure as a high-pressure cleaners.
*It depends on the environment of use.

Water flow from the nozzle is poor. Is there a way to improve this?

■When water flow is poor for “Shower” or “Joro” water shapes
≪Screen Cleaning Method≫
① Remove the rubber ring (black) at the tip of the spray nozzle and the screen nut (gray).
② Brush the back side of the removed screen with a brush (such as a toothbrush).
*Do not insert objects like needles into the screen holes.

■When water flow is poor for “Straight or Mist” water shape
≪Backflush Cleaning Method≫
① Set the nozzle spray pattern to Straight and ensure the grip is in the water-flow position.
② Directly place the hose over the center of the shower screen and run water to remove any debris inside.

*Some products have different specifications for the nozzle.

The water flow control lever is no longer working. Is there a way to repair it?

The lever part of the nozzle cannot be repaired so that it is not designed to be disassembled.

How to drain water from the nozzle.

To prevent freezing damage in winter and protect the product, be sure to turn off the faucet and drain the water from the inside of the product after use.

≪How to drain water≫
After turning off the faucet, set the nozzle to the straight water shape, hold the lever (water flowing through the nozzle), and gently shake the nozzle up and down to drain the water inside the product.
Disconnect the nozzle from the hose to which it is connected to drain the water more firmly.
≪Caution≫
Please note that draining the water does not completely remove the water and does not prevent freezing damage.

Water is leaking around the rubber ring of the nozzle.

Water leakage from the rubber ring (black) at the tip of the nozzle may indicate a loose or detached screen.
If it occurs this symptom, please follow the steps below.
▼Procedure
① Loosen the screen nut on the inside of the rubber ring (black) and remove the screen (the part with holes).
*Some models have an integrated screen nut and screen.
② Align the screen with the tabs on the main body and tighten it clockwise to install.
③ Insert the tip rubber ring (black).
*Installing the screen and rubber ring together may cause them to come loose during water flow.
Even though it is inconvenient, please install each part individually.

*There are different specifications on some nozzle models.

Can the nozzle body be disassembled?

The nozzle body part cannot be disassembled.
Only the screen and connector can be removed.
*There are different specifications on some products.

Water is leaking from the point where the hose is connected to the connector. Is there a way to repair it?

If water leaks from the junction between the hose lock nut and the hose on the connector, check the following connection conditions.

▼Checklist
① Is the hose lock nut loose?
② Is the hose inserted fully?
③ Is the direction of the locking ring reversed? (Insert the hose into the locking ring from the narrow end.)
*Some products feature an integrated hose lock nut and locking ring.

Water is leaking from the point where the connector is attached. Is there a way to repair it?

The connector may not be fully inserted.
When connecting, ensure the connector is fully seated without any wobble.

Water is spraying out from the top of the tap adaptor. Is there a way to repair it?

If water leaks from the top of the tap adaptor despite proper installation on a compatible faucet, insufficient insertion into the faucet spout may be the cause.

≪Installation Method≫

  • Ensure the tap adaptor is inserted approximately 1 cm deep into the rubber gasket hole.
  • Although the gasket hole is small, wetting it with water and inserting the faucet spout deeply makes it slippery and easier to insert.

Alternatively, warming the tap adaptor in water around 40°C (104°F) will soften the rubber, making insertion easier.

If water leakage persists even after following the above steps, the faucet spout’s outlet pipe may be damaged or deformed.
Particularly for faucet spouts that originally came with a nipple (secured by three screws), deformation is possible, so please check carefully.
